Don Graves, a Senior Associate with Applied Economics, has over 20 years experience in the area of database creation and analysis, and real estate research. Mr. Graves has an associate's degree from Spoon River College in Canton, Illinois and continued his education at Western Illinois University with coursework in sociology, business and demographics.
Marcia Elliott is a Systems Analyst with Applied Economics. Ms. Elliott is an experienced systems administrator, network manager and Access programmer. She provides custom programming support for a range of economic development and planning applications created by Applied Economics. Ms. Elliott is proficient in a wide range of operating environments and programming languages including Windows, Unix/Linux, Perl/PHP, C/C++/C#, Visual Basic, and Microsoft VBA/Access, as well as in network design, administration and media. She has performed systems administration functions in a variety of environments ranging from biotechnology to software development. She holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy, an M.S. in Biology and has completed two-years of course work in computer science all at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
Christina Miller is an Senior Associate with Applied Economics. Ms. Miller has worked on a variety of economic development-related projects, performing primary and secondary research related to infrastructure service rates (water, sewer, electricity, gas), tax rates, wage levels, labor market, demographic and other quantitative business climate information. Her strong background in finance and her natural analytical abilities enable her to understand, organize, and scrutinize information on a wide range of subjects. Ms. Miller is an experienced professional who is equally able to work with people and information to accomplish her goals. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees in finance provide her with an excellent skill set to address a variety of tasks, as well as provide for strong project coordination and management. Ms. Miller holds a bachelor's degree in finance from University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA in finance from Regis University in Denver.
